PCA service coordination helps keep frail seniors at home
The majority of older adults want to age at home, in the community. PCA’s nearly 200 service coordinators are vital to helping them do so when they become frail. Each year, the agency provides service coordination for more than 17,000 older Philadelphians.

Senior centers feature MLK commemorations, celebrations
The upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 15 celebrates the life and legacy of this civil rights icon and encourages people to do acts of services as he had called for during his lifetime. Many local senior community centers are honoring the spirit of Dr. King in advance with special activities. Here are highlights for some celebrations taking place on Friday, Jan. 12 at several of the senior centers which receive funding support from Philadelphia Corporation for Aging.
